Steps For 1:1 Nutrition Counseling
Discovery Call: I offer free 20 minute discovery calls to potential clients to make sure I am a good fit for you, and to answer any questions you may have about my work or nutrition sessions.
Initial Nutrition Assessment: This is an hour long session where we can get to know each other better, and I can gather helpful background and health information. We’ll discuss current and previous eating behaviors, health history, short and long-term goals, and your relationship with both food and your body.
Follow-up Sessions: During follow-up nutrition sessions we will discuss more about your short-term goals, set intentions for the coming week, and check-in about previous intentions. I approach these sessions with non-judgmental curiosity to help you identify current barriers, and can provide specific tools, skills, worksheets, and plans to support you.
Client Reviews
“Quinn is kind, understanding, and very empathetic during our sessions. They are knowledgeable and eager to help, even if that means doing extra research outside of session times. She always validates your feelings and ensures you know that she is there for you. They will never judge you and you always feel that you can trust them with your feelings and actions. As a nutritionist, Quinn is the best you can ask for, and as someone recovering from an eating disorder she has aided the process over the years invaluably.”
— Former Client“I have been attending a closed recovery group with Quinn for about 6 months now. Quinn is wonderful in terms of working with the group to address issues of concern to us and to bring in materials and information to assist in our recovery. I am a transmasculine person who has struggled with an eating disorder for a very long time and Quinn does an excellent job of grasping how my gender identity and gender dysphoria play into my eating disorder.”
— Former Client“I've been working with Quinn for around 2 years now. She has been extremely supportive throughout my recovery journey and I feel so lucky that I’ve had the opportunity to work with her. She has been integral in helping me reach my recovery goals by assisting me with meal planning, helping me debrief after weight checks, talking to my doctors to ensure my care team is the strongest it could be, and answering any questions I’ve had along the way. There is a stigma associated with eating disorders, but Quinn has made me feel comfortable being myself and saying anything on my mind. She has also encouraged me to trust myself in the process. Anyone who works with Quinn will be in good hands!”
